I feel like miniature table top gaming hasn't taken off yet due to the barrier of entry. Though, if the popularity of StarCraft and Age of Empires has shown me is that there is a market for it, it's only a matter of time before they find a way to present it in an exciting and innovative way.
While there are some differences between Real Time Strategy games and table top miniature wargaming, there are definitely similarities. Most of the CRPGs I like have a heavy tactical/miniatures component, whether Rogue Trader or Baldur's Gate 3. Yes, the story and acting are stellar, but so too was the miniature combat simulation. Heck, when I played the old Infinity Engine games, I wrestled the settings until it was essentially a turn based game.

Critical Role is best for DnD but that’s due to them having the Star power.
If you want a great channel to watch Warhammer 40,000 then I suggest the team at TableTop Tatics.
