Ugh. That happened to me as well. Moved at 12 years old during the LAST quarter of my 1st year in middle school. Everyone else was already established & had friends. Bonus: I had NO IDEA about the curriculum they were teaching, so I basically was the proverbial pubescent pisces out of water. It's ok though - I got over it a few decades later! 🐟

Me too. The Gollum path doesn't tend to end well. It was a pretty desperate time. New school, no new friends yet, and all the anxieties of puberty.
